As we get closer to our departure date, the team has decided to use my super fancy blog as our official means of communicating. So, in the next 81 days, we will be posting specific prayer requests and updates here. Also, while we are gone, we will use this blog to share with you what's happening on the other side of the globe. Thankfully, it won't just be me writing, it will also include others going on the trip, whose grammar and writing skills are likely to be better than mine.
So.... "stay tuned!" If you know how to "subscribe" to a blog, do that now. If you don't, that's OK, the team and I will be sharing the new blog posts on Facebook.
Prayer Requests for July:
- The People. Pray with us for the people that we are headed to see. Our heart's desire is to be true Ambassadors of Christ to them!
- The church and children in Ethiopia.
- The youth, young men, young mothers, and elderly in Uganda
- The people we meet on the planes, in the cities, at the hotel, etc.
- Planning. We have a marriage conference, a VBS, and multiple smaller visits (where we are going to be "teaching" or encouraging) to outline and organize. Pray for us. There are a couple of strong type "D" personalities on the team, which is great, but we all need to be sensitive to the Holy Spirit for His direction.
- Finances. In addition to traveling expenses, we will also be providing ministry/evangelism supplies, VBS materials, and gifts/blessings to the missionaries that we will be working with. We have no doubt in the God we serve and His ability to provide! Stand in agreement with us.
We are so thankful for those that are willing to support us through prayer! THANK YOU!!
